Synchronous Modeling

Are you new to Solid Edge or experienced with ordered Solid Edge and ready to expand your skills?

This course will guide you through all aspects of Synchronous modeling in solid edge

In a Solid Edge modeling document, two environments coexist for creating model features. The two environments are synchronous and ordered. A model can contain a combination of both feature types.

Synchronous is successfully applied in the following scenarios:

- Manipulating imported STEP file geometry
- Improved Design Re-use from Other 3D CAD Models
- Machine building
- Fast and Flexible Design Creation
- Quick Response to Late-stage Design Changes
- Simultaneous Editing of Multiple Parts in an Assembly
- Attention: this is for all versions of Solid Edge
